Millions of peaches, peaches for me

When we went to the farmer's market, my mom saw peaches. I told her to buy a huge basket of them. She wanted to buy a medium basket but I told her to get the biggest basket. She did and then we had to help her freeze them all.



Hanna was peeling the skins off.



I was slicing the peaches.



Now they go in the freezer and in the winter we eat frozen peaches. It's better than ice cream!



There's a song about peaches that we sing. We made up another one about donuts.

Old Barney

We climbed to the top of this lighthouse called Barnegat Lighthouse. It has 217 steps and was very windy at the top.

We went to an amusement park. First, we went on a dragon rollercoaster. Then we played some games. They were fun but we didn't win anything.

This ride was called the Sea Dragon. Can you find me and my dad? I liked it alot but my sister stayed on the ground!

These are some lighthouses we saw on Lake Michigan ... our mom really likes to visit lighthouses.

Happy 4th

We're were in Indiana enjoying the 4th with Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Jerry. Grandpa bought some sparklers for us and our cousins!

I used a torch to light the sparklers.

Abraham Lincoln

I wanted to learn more about Abraham Lincoln when we went to Washington DC. This is a picture of the Abraham Lincoln Memorial. I loved it.

Did you ever know that Abraham Lincoln loved books? He loved books! I think he read them every day. I like books too, just like Abraham Lincoln.

He got shot at a theatre. They put him on a bed but he did not fit. He was too tall. So they had to put him in bed slanty. This is a picture of the bed where he laid down. It is across the street from the theatre.

Spring Break -- Washington!

For Spring Break, we all went to Washington DC. We rode on the subway (the metro) every day.

We went to the Zoo and saw these sea lions yelling at each other and playing in the water.

We saw this ALOT ... it's called the Washington Monument. We walked all around and saw other monuments with a tour guide. Hanna kept calling it a "Mommy-mint".

This is outside the American Indian Museum. It was really beautiful inside.

Ice-sylvania ... the best imaginary skating rink ever!

Snow Day

We had a snow day. We all got to stay home from school and work. Papa wanted the paper but it was buried under the snow. So, we started the first Bare-Foot Snow Olympics.

Hanna tried first.

I got a little bit farther.

But no newspaper. Mama had to dig it out later with the shovel. She wore boots.

Polar Bear Plunge

I love the beach. So does my friend Lauren.


We love the beach so much we went swimming in the WINTER!!!

My mom said the water was only 35 degrees and it felt like my legs were dissolving when I first went in the water. I went in twice.

Everyone else at the beach thought we were crazy and brave.


We had alot of fun but my soccer coach said I'm not allowed to complain about being cold at practice anymore!

Now I am 8

Today was my birthday and now I am 8.



I had an angel food cake and lots of presents.



My Aunt Sarah is taking me to the Philadelphia Art Museum to see some paintings. I want to be an artist when I grow up.
