Skye Bike!!

I love the Sky Bike at the Franklin Institute.

The sky bike is almost touching the ceiling and it has a weight at the bottom to balance you! There's also a net below you and a seatbelt.

To get across on the Sky Bike, you have to ride on a metal rope. You can't steer it. All you can do is pedal and the pedals are hard to push when you are going backwards. When you go forward, you can go as fast as you want.

I wasn't tall enough over the summer but I am now.

Now I am 8

Today was my birthday and now I am 8.

I had an angel food cake and lots of presents.

My Aunt Sarah is taking me to the Philadelphia Art Museum to see some paintings. I want to be an artist when I grow up.

Birthday Pie

Wednesday was Papa's birthday. We gave him a birthday chair. We had to build it - we got it from IKEA. It was fun. It even smells like IKEA. We got some icecream at IKEA too when we bought the chair.

My sister helped a little bit too.

I would like to live at IKEA and I would hide in the little egg chairs and sleep in the bed with the heart blankets and canopy. My mom said I'm getting too big to fit inside and my sister tipped the egg chair over since she's so much bigger.

We made Papa a cherry pie because he doesn't like cake.

Before Papa came home, we went to the doctors and I got four shots for kindergarten. The nurse gave me one light pink band-aid and three sparkle band aids. It hurt alot but I didn't cry.
